This is such a truly lovely vintage 1960's Marketa evening bag. We have seen other Marketa bags but none with the extensive beading and embroidery that this one has.The bag is a fold over clutch style with a black background that is embroidered with gold thread. The gorgeous beading includes gold beads and seed pearls and the fine floral embroidery is in pale shades of green, blue, pink, cream and lavender. .This inside of the flap is golden bronze lame and the bag is lined in a pretty pink satin. There are two open pockets inside and the bag measures 10"x7" when folded and 10.5" when opened. 

We love unique vintage bags even more than we love the higher end designer bags because they are rarer and offer the owner more of a one of a kind look. That's one of the things we at Modig care the most about; original style with unique pieces.
